The Clippers are in Phoenix, Arizona today to face the Phoenix Suns. The newest addition to the team, Danny Granger will make his debut tonight. Granger has scored an average of 17.6 points per game in his career so far. He only played 29 games with Indiana until being traded to Philadelphia on Feb.20. His contract was bought out by the 76ers, eventually leading him to sign with the Clippers. Most people thought that Granger would have made his debut early as on Saturday but Doc Rivers put him in the inactive list. The Clippers have been on a tear as of late winning four games in a row. J.J. Redick and Jamal Crawford didn’t play on Saturdays game against the Pelicans so it gave the chance for Chris Paul and Darren Collison to step up. And step up they did, scored 36 points combined and dishing out 11 assists.

The Suns have been having a decent year so far, boasting a record 35-24. Phoenix is coming of their highest scoring performance of the regular season, scoring 129 points. The Suns shot an outstanding 62.5 percent from downtown. In the first half they scored 79 points, the highest total in the NBA. For every positive there is a negative. The Phoenix Suns are allowing teams to score on average 111.6 points in the last five games. According to Synergy Sports, Phoenix boasts the NBA’s most efficient pick-and-roll attack, averaging .989 points per possession in such situations.
