Kickoff to the 2014 college football season is so close you can almost reach out and touch it. That means the Fresno State Bulldogs will be opposite USC on the Los Angeles Coliseum sidelines in a matter of days.

USC fans should be familiar with their Mountain West neighbors to the north. The Trojans dismantled them 45-20 in the Las Vegas Bowl last December. Alas, a new year brings a clean slate. New head coach Steve Sarkisian has had his hands full dealing with depth issues and incorporating new talent with 18 returning starters. But the Bulldogs have had a busy offseason of their own as they attempt to defend the inaugural Mountain West Championship.
