Jamal Crawford and the LA Clippers defeated the Atlanta Hawks in a thrilling game.

This game came down to the end just like last night’s game against the Indiana Pacers.

The Clippers won both games by two points and ended with the opponents having a chance to tie or win the game.

The game tonight proved to all the critics and naysayers that the team is good without Blake Griffin, if not better.

The only player to not score in this game was point guard Pablo Prigioni.

He did have two assists which is just like scoring points because he created the plays to assist to his teammates to score.

  • With this unlikely statistic of almost ever player scoring, there is one more fact that is interesting –Jamal Crawford was the leading scorer for the team.

He came off the bench and helped spark the team to a win on the road again.

The box score shows the Clippers should have lost the game in most categories.

As a team, they had sixteen steals to the Hawks six steals which is the second difference maker and unique statistic of the night.

The only other two box score categories Los Angeles won was the points in the paint and they made their free throws.

This game was won in the paint by the Clippers and not with the three ball.

Tonight’s game is a prime example of the team needing someone to step up and make plays when needed.

Off the bench, Crawford did just that and assisted in sparking that energy with the rest of the team.

With the team playing they did tonight they will win close ones because of defense and only one player is sparking energy and making plays for the team.

Bottom Line: They’re better without Blake Griffin.

They need multiple players not to just score in double figures but, they need multiple players to provide energy, and create game changing plays, that lead to other players scoring in double figures.

This game is considered a come-back win even though the team won last night because of the controversy surrounding Blake Griffin and the organization.

After the incident, multiple questions have been asked and suggestions mentioned.

Many critics have mentioned is he becoming a distraction because he isn’t the superstar of the team anymore and it is about all the players working together ,to accomplish one goal, and win together whether they are multiple average or multiple superstar players on the team.
