Lynn Swann is hired as USC’s new Athletic Director.

He is replacing Pat Haden because Haden had to retire due to some medical, health issues.

During the last couple of seasons there were a few games where he collapsed on the field and was rushed to the hospital.

On top of that the USC football program has gone through a revolving door of head coaches throughout these seasons and those times.

Then they named Clay Helton the official USC football head coach.

He guided the Trojans to first place in the Pac-12 South division with a 5-2 record, since when he took over as interim head coach and a trip to the Pac-12 championship game.

Will he he able to do this again for a full season, without star quarterback Cody Kessler and Linebacker/Receiver Su’a Cravens both in the NFL?

The answer is no but he will be able to able to sustain the team and maintain a consistent season with them.

They have new recruits straight out of high school coming in and they still have a lot of good talent currently on the team that were on the team in 2015 to be leaders in 2016/2017.

Not only that but the Pac-12 all around lost multiple players from multiple schools to the 2016 NFL Draft.

This season we could see USC go from a top tier team to a bottom tier team.

If they are able to win their non-conference games they should be fine because that is an automatic 3 wins out of a 12 game season.

After that they will only need to win about 4 games to be stable at 7-5 and make a bowl game in 2017.

In comes Lynn Swann who is expected to bring change to USC football program for the better.

Lynn Swann is a former Trojan and receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL.

He is infamously known for being aggressive in his style of play also while along being so graceful and gentle at the same time.

Such as parody.

He is expected to bring change, what kind of change will this be.

As an AD he isn’t just responsible for USC football, but for all of USC athletics which includes basketball, volleyball, soccer, and others.

USC athletics is on the rise and will he be the guy to help the coaches and players to be the next best team in each respective sport?

He has that aggressive mentality of a winner and the gracefulness soft spoken voice of a true leader to motivate and even lead the teams to Conference Championships at their respective sport.

The irony between Lynn Swann being USC’s AD playing for the Trojans and the Steelers is that multiple Trojans have gone into the NFL and had great hall of fame careers such as Troy Polamalu, Carson Palmer, Reggie Bush, Junior Seau, Brian Cushing, Rey Maualuga, Clay Matthews, and Keyshawn Johnson and more.

Lynn Swann went off in Super Bowl X against the Dallas Cowboys and had an immaculate catch that was graceful in the making, as he jumped in the air to catch it, caught it with two hands, and came down on the field with two hands landing on his two feet, as he were a ballet dancer so gracefully as if he were doing a pureit.

He went off that day for 161 receiving yards on just 4 catches which is about 40 yards per catch and earned MVP Honors.

He was well deserving of it because of the way he made his only 4 catches in this game so acrobatic but also graceful and elegant at the same time.

The Cowboys were on a roll to win the Super Bowl until Swann came flying out of no where like a Swann and helped lead the Steelers to be third team in the NFL to win back to back Super Bowls.
