Freeway Series opener clash between the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Los Angeles Dodgers starts on Monday May 16, 2016.

This series shall be good because it comes at a time when both teams have kicked it up a notch and are kicking it on all cylinders.

We will not see a duel but we will see a clash and this is also an interleague matchup as well.

Both of these teams need these wins at this point of the season.

The Dodgers are looking to move back into first place with a sweep while the Angels are hoping to move into second in their division with a sweep.

We know when these two teams meet it is always an exciting game full of talent and athletic proweress.

With that being said most fans know that most likely a sweep will come close but will not happen.

The Halos have found ways to win and stick to their gameplan no matter who is in the starting lineup.

The Angels recently have kicked it up a notch, by recently just sweeping the Seattle Mariners in spite of Mike Trout trade rumors, which were quickly shot down.

It is as if after the rumors, the transactions of players, and moving players up from the minors, the club has played with more determination and motivation.

They may even be the team who signs former World Series and San Francisco Giansts pitcher Tim Lincecum.

The Dodgers were also in talks with Tim Lincecum but it doesn’t look that will happen.

They lost their last game to the St. Louis Cardinals and couldn’t pull off the sweep.

Clayton Kershaw and the whole Dodgers roster has turned on the switches and are kicking on all cylinders despite their last loss.

Kershaw has been near excellent in every game, the defense has made plays, and their offense continues to amaze everyone with different people making great use of their at-bats.

They are playing like a playoff team who wants to win it all and they can win it all.

Here is the Dodgers starting lineup for tonight.

Oh boy if they didn’t get eliminated they would have had shot to play in the World Series.

They still need to acquire one more reliable pitcher for the playoffs, therefore if an injury does happen or someone is tired, they have someone they can turn to to rely on and help lead them to their end goal.

They need a reliable quality accurate pitcher who can do this.

With Lincecum out of question who will they go after or should they go after a pitcher?

This game and series between the Angels and Dodgers will be an exciting game to watch.

For all of you fans who don’t like to watch baseball on television here is an analogy to compare this series it is like the Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder series in the NBA.

If you don’t like to watch baseball on television you will like to now because this series is not your average baseball game and it will make you want to watch it more on television or at the least respect the sport.

With both teams peaking at the right time we will see a lot of action tonight from both teams.

Here is what to expect:

  • Great Pitches
  • Really good at-bats
  • Excellent Base Running
  • Awesome outfield and infield play.
  • The Clubs Managers in a chess match

This spells out the acronym GREAT because we will see a GREAT game and series from both clubs.

The last and final question is who will come out victorious and could this be a preview of a 2016/2017 Wolrd Series MatchUp?
