Su’a Cravens to make a name for himself in NFL

Former USC star Su’a Cravens is next great Safety of the future for the NFL for years to come.

Both Rival schools USC and UCLA had tremendous talented players drafted in the 2016 NFL Draft.

For UCLA their star running back Paul Perkins was drafted to the New York Giants to spark a fire in their offense.

The Redskins drafted a talented defensive player from USC in strong safety Su’a Cravens who plays outside linebacker as well.

Ironically both players landed with pro teams where their team colors are the same as their school colors.

In college players usually can play on both sides of the ball, unless the coach has their players play just one way.

The difference with playing both ways is that these players are well conditioned and trained.

They can play a full game on offense and defense giving you their all.

Cravens is that type of player and is all over the field literally, whether he just stays on one side of the ball or plays both sides.

His style of play is similar to that of former safety Troy Polamalu, who went on to accomplish great things in the NFL.

Multiple players from USC end up having productive NFL careers such as Troy, or even Clay Matthews, Brian, Cushing, Rey Maualuga, Reggie Bush, Carson Palmer, etc.

Troy would end up having a productive career with the Pittsburgh Steelers where he would go on to win 2 Super Bowls with the team.

With Cravens play similar to that a of former USC and NFL star safety Troy, he has the ability and a great chance to become the next great safety in the league since Ronnie Lott, Polamalu, and Ed Reed.

He wants to have his own style of play and will amen a name for himself in the NFL for years to come.

He has versatility which is what the Redskins need and don’t be surprised if you see him playing everywhere including offense he is that talented.

Cravens adds youth, energy, talent and new face to a completely new secondary for the most part and has the vision like the team that they will win it all.

With the new defensive players they have added they can win it all.

The Redskins signed cornerback Josh Norman from the Panthers earlier in the off-season and Cravens will eb able to learn behind safety Duke Ihenacho.

Cravens has raw talent and great football IQ, he may even find himself starting this year ahead of Duke or starting at outside linebacker instead of safety.

It all depends where the coaches want him to play because he can play anywhere and be effective.

He adds the defensive presence as in a good pass stopper, as they were near last in passing defense.

They hope Cravens along with Norman and the rest of the team can be the secondary that allows the least amount of passing yards.

He is a good shutdown corner that will help the team not allow 250 plus passing yards on defense.

His presence alone will help them be able to focus on shutting down receivers.

His ability to play linebacker will allow him to cover running backs and shut down them down giving opposing offenses trouble.

With his speed if he gets an interception he is gone.

The Redskins have their franchise quarterback and made the playoffs with their offense.

Now they look to step up their defense to make it back and to the Super Bowl.

The question is they have plenty of talent on defense, but can the prove to everyone they can win a Super Bowl?

Cravens from USC is the answer they need in the deep backfield to prevent long plays from happening.

He has the cray athletic ability of Reed and Polamalu and is like a mix of both of them.

If you don’t see him immediately during the play its because he si already at the spot where you the ball is.

He has great gut instinct an is the teams future safety and leader on defense.
