Jordan Clarkson plans on staying in LA and does not want to play for another team.

The Lakers now have money they can spend in free agency, trades, and pay players on their current roster that deserve it,

This team hasn’t made the playoffs since 2012, also the last time they had a winning record.

They are coming off a losing record for a third consecutive year.

There have been plenty of rumors cycling through the NBA and circling through the Lakers as well.

One of those rumors is where will Jordan Clarkson be next season with LA or another team?

Well Clarkson recently has stated, “he has no plans to leave Los Angeles and wants to play with the Lakers.”

He also explained, that he will make sacrifices for the teams sake by coming off the bench,  starting, or having a different role; he just wants to impact the team anyway he can to help win.

No matter what, he will give it his all the entirety of the time he is in the game.

Hi can play the point or shooting guard position, however it seems that the Lakers are able to get more out of him when he is playing the shooting guard position.

Pairing him with Russell starting or coming off the bench is dangerous, as they compliment each other greatly.

Clarkson averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists a game in the 2015/2016 NBA regular season.

He does have potential to earn a double-double, as he earned one last season playing against the Indiana pacers on November 29.

In this he had 10 rebounds and 22 points.

Why he has the potential is he because he hustles on every play and does not give up.

Clarkson would work well with who they draft as well, if they start together or if they come off the bench as a dangerous duo.

Once the Lakers draft the player they want all these rumors may close or some may come to fruition.

As they do have the 2nd overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft and they are not locked in on who they are going to draft with this pick.

Well, they at least haven’t told the media who they are going to draft for sure, whether they do already know or not.

The Lakers have done a great job at keeping who they are going to draft a surprise.

They may draft anyone from Brandon Ingram to Buddy Hield.

This organization also wants to attract free agents to play in Los Angeles with this young team they have.
