Ishmael Adams returns to UCLA in 2016/2017 on the other side of the ball on offense.

Ishmael Adams is coming of an injury last season which kept him out of a few games, particularly ones towards the end where they needed him to help the team to the conference championship game.

UCLA already has a decent defense and he makes them better with his versatility, as he can play linebacker, corner, or safety, similar to that of Mark Barron of the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL.

Even without Adams the Bruins still have a great defense, because it is all about teamwork not individual effort.

Ishmael Adams is going to showcase his versatility this year with the UCLA Bruins by switching to the offensive side of the ball.

This will help his team greatly as they lost most of their offensive weapons in the NFL Draft.

Speaking of the NFL Draft former quarterback Braxton Miller of the Ohio State University football team, switched to receiver his senior year to help his team out on offense and showcase his skill, versatility.

Braxton Miller did this hoping to win another championship. Unfortunately that failed, but it did help Braxton get noticed by the NFL and get drafted, which was also a goal of his by switching to receiver.

He had two goals one to help his team out anyway he can and to be able to showcase his versatility to be drafted into the NFL.

Ishmael Adams is in a similar boat if you think you about it.

He is a great cornerback for the Bruins, yet he wants to make it to the NFL, just as most college athletes dream of that.

Ishmael Adams switching to offense will actually increase the Bruins offense talent, because they lost multiple offensive players to the NFL. His move alone will increase productivity on the offensive side of the ball, as well as help him get noticed by scouts in the NFL.

Ishmael Adams also handles punt and kick return duties for the UCLA Bruins. This showcases his craftiness.

Since he already plays a position where he is most likely to get his hands on the ball, switching to offense is excellent for him and the team.

He is speedy, strong, is an athlete, and knows how to read plays on the field and make split second decisions. That is truly a gift.

Ishmael Adams is not only thinking about himself, he is thinking of his teammates as well.

By switching to offense he gives Josh Rosen someone to throw the ball to. This will help increase Rosens’ productivity as well and the whole teams.

Don’t forget Ishmael Adams can also play defense in the same game if coach Jim Mora allows it, he allowed Myles Jack.

This will help the Bruins out was well as Adams, yet again Ishmael Adams will want to be careful therefore he doesn’t risk injury playing on both sides of the ball in same game.

He is most likely to get injured playing both sides of the game every game, if he plays both sides of the ball in games where they need him then he shall be fine and productive, impactful.
