Luke Walton challenges Jordan Clarkson to be the best defensive player in the league.

He did this by saying Jordan Clarkson can be a great defensive player if he’s willing to take the challenge, according to Lakers Nation.

Jordan Clarkson is a cog in the Lakers Young Core.

Every day he continues to improve his game even if it is the most minute of details.

Jordan Clarkson has been in the league for two years.

He has made a name for himself on a team that is ready turn the ship around.

Also he is ready to turn this ship around, which is evident by his hard work.

He has great skills such as driving off the dribble, ability to pass, quickness, and his agility.

In the past year when he was earning more minutes he was improving his game.

While playing in those games  he improved his three point shooting.

Jordan Clarkson now is being challenged to work on improving his defense by his head coach.

Luke Walton stated Jordan Clarkson can and will be one of the best defenders in the league, if he focuses on that this off-season and accepts the challenge.

Basically Walton challenged him to improve his defensive game.

He is already good on offense and working towards being great.

it is good to be great at one thing, yet it is awesome to be great at two things.

If Jordan Clarkson can tighten up his defense he will be one of the best defenders in the NBA.

Also he will be the best defender on the Lakers.

What makes him a great defender and gives him an advantage is his swiftness the way he moves on the court with his quickness and the way he plays the game.

Secondly he has great basketball IQ and vision on the court.

His vision will help with his defense, because he will be able to anticipate plays.

Jordan Clarkson can guard any position since he has the speed to keep up with anyone.

When it comes to defending the big men he is able to use his agility to guard them.

Also he is working on getting stronger by going to the gym to be able to defend the big men on the court. When he accepts the challenge he will be the best defender in the NBA.
