Dodgers inch closer at a chance of winning this year’s World Series.

The Dodgers clinched the NL West Division for the fourth consecutive year off of ea walk-off homerun from Charlie Culberson in the bottom of the tenth over the weekend.

Hopefully, the Dodgers will continue to win games, and try to take the second seed away from the Nationals in the National League.

Which will help to keep them in a winning mindset, as they await to see who they’ll play in the Divisional round of the playoffs.

With many doubts surrounding whether the Dodgers would win the division, or even make the playoffs.

The Dodgers were able to overcome the doubts that lingered over their heads, and held off the Giants once again for the top spot of the division.

For a fourth consecutive year, the Dodgers will be playing in the month of October, and will be looking  to once again prove the doubters wrong, and bring home a World Series title back to Los Angeles for the first time since 1988.

Since the All-Star break, the Dodgers have got healthy, added more depth, been balanced on both sides of the field, and have continued to a play at a consistent level with confidence.

As Clayton Kershaw looks to be back to his dominate form, with the starting rotation behind him turning into a three-headed monster with  Kenta Maeda and Rich Hill on the mound.

The offense has become more rounded as they have gone away from just relying on Corey Seager, Justin Turner, and Adrian Gonzalez to bring in runs, with the whole lineup contributing from top to bottom.

As on the other side of the ball, the defense continues to be a strong factor to their winning formula of being a World Series contender.

With the bullpen being a loose canon, as it’s full of great talent, but you just don’t know what to expect from them.

One game they’ll make you want to scream, and then the next game they’ll shine, and be lights out.

For this years Dodgers team, I honestly don’t know if they could win the World Series, or what round they’ll lose in.

I think many Dodgers fans have come to realize that you shouldn’t over hype a Dodgers win until the series is entirely over, or when they win the World Series.

As you can’t underestimate, or determine a winner of a series with the month of October being filled with magical moments with every pitch, hit, out, and run being so valuable.
