Lonzo Ball helps UCLA Bruins get past the Beavers.

Lonzo Ball had another spectacular performance for the Bruins. T.J. leaf and Ball were the only two Bruins in double figures. The Bruins are now 23-3 overall and 10-3 in conference play.

In order for them to make a run in March they need more than two players in double figures. They are going to need help from everyone.

Also, if some players don’t score double digit points they will need those players help to crash the glass grabbing rebounds.

The Bruins can thank Lonzo Ball for this victory as he did about everything. His performance was electrifying including this dunk.

He was just shy of a triple double, putting up numbers up of 22 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds. UCLA started the game out slow and then came alive in the second half for the well deserved victory.

T.J. Leaf was close to earning a double-double with his 15 points and 9 rebounds. UCLA was 33-64   from the field for 51.6%. The Bruins were better from the charity stripe only because they didn’t earn many trips there.

They also struggled from behind the arc. The Bruins shot 30.4% from downtown going 7-23. Lonzo Ball had two of the three-pointers. UCLA was able to attempt multiple shots from downtown, but they just couldn’t convert them.

Lonzo Ball helped in the assists department leading the Bruins to having 21 compared to their opponents 8. Additionally they out-rebounded their opponent 28 to 21.

UCLA committed only 9 turnovers the entire game which is positive news for the team.

There is no doubt the Bruins will make the NCAA March Madness tournament. However some questions that arise are how far will they make it and can they advance deep in the tournament.
