The latest Lakers rumors take into account their possible future first round pick.

As the speculation continues to come up surrounding what teams will do at the trade deadline, the future is what the Lakers should really be concerned about.

Wondering continuously if D’Angelo Russell can avoid getting injured and if Brandon Ingram will step up likely won’t be enough to contend. Thanks to them being in the Western Conference, their entire team is going to have to be good, not just at a few positions.

Los Angeles has seen changes at center, as Timofey Mozgov has seen the bench instead of a starting role. Instead, the Lakers have entrusted Tarik Black with the starting gig until they figure things out long term.

Or at least that’s how it appears.

That being said, here is a look at how the starting five and rest of the depth chart could look for Los Angeles starting as soon as 2018.
