Lakers Rumors: Possible Trade Packages for Jordan Clarkson

Jordan Clarkson may find himself on the outside looking in next season. Because of that, what trade packages could the Lakers get for him according to these Lakers rumors?
If the inevitable happens, which would be the Lakers drafting Lonzo Ball, Jordan Clarkson may not have a place on the Lakers. Sure, he would still be a valuable bench option, but he will not get the same playing time that he would this year. This leads to many thinking that Clarkson will be the first one dealt, and if the Lakers can get a good return, it makes sense.
With the largest contract of the young core, the Lakers have even more reasons to deal Clarkson. While $12.5 million a year certainly isn’t burning a hole in the Lakers pocketbooks, it is the largest contract of the young guys. Granted, the Lakers would likely take in a large contract if they send Clarkson out, but they could do so in an area of need.
It is not completely necessary to deal Clarkson, as he could make a great sixth man for the Lakers. However, the NBA is a business, and if Rob Pelinka and Magic Johnson see a deal they deem worthy they should not hesitate in pulling the trigger.
Some of these Lakers rumors may upset fans because Clarkson is well received within the fanbase, but like I said, the NBA is a business and if they can deal Clarkson for someone that has a greater impact they should not hesitate in doing so.
