There have been so many superstars tied up with Lakers rumors. Despite potential interest, there are some stars the Lakers should avoid at all cost.

The Los Angeles Lakers are easily the most illustrious franchise in all of the NBA. Despite having their fair share of struggles in the recent past, the Lakers still demand the spotlight of all NBA fans. Whether it is the nail-biting anticipation of if they will get their draft pick or the seemingly inevitable acquisition of Paul George, the Lakers remain the talk of the NBA.

All of this talk has tied multiple superstars to the Lakers organization. Whether they will be free agents, trade targets, or draft picks – there seems to be many stars interested in the Lakers. Despite this, the Lakers still lack that star power that they had for so long with Kobe Bryant, which may be causing desperation in LA.

Let’s face it, the NBA is better when the Los Angeles Lakers are good. They are one of the biggest markets in the NBA, and they are very loved. Fans are sick of this Warriors-Cavaliers narrative that seems to be having its third go around this season. Fans want new blood in the finals, and if the Lakers can find that superstar and build the organization under Magic Johnson, it may happen in just a few years.

Overall, it is clear, the Lakers are going to need to bring in outside talent to complement their current group of young guys. However, the team cannot get desperate.

Therefore, with that being said, let’s take a look at three rumored targets that the Lakers should avoid according to these Lakers rumors.
