Similar to the NHL Playoffs 2017, the Anaheim Ducks season is almost over.

The Ducks style in the NHL Playoffs 2017, may be over since they lost game five at home. This means in order to force a game seven at home they must win on the road in game six.

Anaheim has proven they can win in Nashville. They won game four in overtime in Nashville. Therefore it is possible for them to force a game seven, yet it will be difficult. If anyone has a chance at bouncing back and winning the Western Conference Finals it is the Anaheim Ducks.

The Ducks have shown a style about them in these NHL Playoffs 2017 and they have in this series as well. Then in game six something happened that could be a cause for concern.

Anaheim players suffered some injuries. These injuries happened to some of their key players including their starting goalie.

If these players don’t play in game six the NHL Playoffs 207 may be over for the Anaheim Ducks. All of this players will be evaluated, therefore come game six we shall find out if they will be starting. Losing these players for the game explains to some extent why the Ducks lost by two goals at home.

Let us not forget the Anaheim Ducks are known for bouncing back in the playoffs. A themes i noticed when they have less shots on goal they win. However in this game they had more shot attempts but lost.

The Ducks still held more possession of the puck and less penalty minutes this game. In this game they even had more giveaways and power plays. Unfortunately, the Ducks could not convert on any of their power plays. Additionally, they had more blocks 18 to 15 and more hits 32 to 25.

Next: Blake Griffin to Boston for #1 Overall Pick

Now if Anaheim is going to stay in the NHL Playoffs 2017 they must convert on their power plays to win. They also must stay healthy and be physical.
