The Los Angeles Lakers are in a much better place now than they were when the offseason began. Still, the Lakers rumors persist.

For the first time in the last three or so seasons fans of the Los Angeles Lakers actually have some hope heading into the season. Well, I am sure that die-hard fans have always had hope in this Lakers team, but for the first time in about half a decade, this hope can actually formulate to results on the court.

That is because the activity and the impact acquisitions that Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka have done a great job of doing. New faces in LA consists of Lonzo Ball, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Brook Lopez, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart and Thomas Bryant. A lot of youth, yes, but also a lot of talent that can translate into maybe even an eighth seed this season.

The biggest acquisition has to be Lonzo Ball. Ball not only thrived himself in the NBA Summer League, but his court philosophy and vision translated into a fast paced play that allowed the Lakes to win the Summer League Championship. Granted, the Summer League does not really many anything, but it still shows that the kid knows how to play.

However, the team still has some holes to fill. This has caused the Lakers to reportedly be interested in Derrick Rose, Ian Clark and Tyler Ennis to come off the bench.

However, if Los Angeles strikes out on those names there are guys available on the trade market. Therefore, what three trade targets should the Lakers look to bring in before the season begins?
