Rick Caruso, best known for real estate development in Los Angeles.

6. Rick Caruso

Rick Caruso is the CEO and founder of Caruso Affiliated, which is one of the largest privately held real estate companies in America. He is rumored to have a net worth of around $2.5B. Caruso put together his own bid for the Dodgers in 2012, mostly because he wanted to own the real estate surrounding Chavez Ravine.

Caruso is a real estate magnate who is most well known in Los Angeles for building the Grove, the Americana in Glendale, the Commons of Calabasas, the Promenade at Westlake, and other developments around the city.

While the Clippers may not be of interest to him due to the lack of real estate he could purchase and transform, he undoubtedly will be contacted to be the financial backer of one of the groups that will pop up in the process of buying the Clippers. He is one of the wealthiest men in Los Angeles and has connections to every group that will have an interest in the team. He is going to be involved, one way or another.
