The only QB in the Pac-12 that can even challenge Mariota’s throne is UCLA’s Brett Hundley. While Hundley is mobile, he is best known for his accuracy, arm strength, and leadership. Hundley brought those qualities to UCLA, and it’s why he’s a projected first round pick; however, he’s blossomed under coach Jim Mora, who has developed him into a true pocket passer.

Hundley may be the most physically gifted QB in the country and would undoubtably be the top QB in most conferences in the country. Hundley is built like Ben Roethlisberger or Dante Culpepper. There’s just something special about him also. He has a knack for making big plays when they’re needed and he’s almost impossible to bring down in or outside the pocket.

Over the last two seasons, Hundley has more yards passing and more rushing touchdowns than Mariota. However, his 20 interceptions over the last two years are what leave him at number 2. In order to steal Mariota’s spot on our rankings and in the NFL Draft, Hundley is going to need to be more careful with his decision making.
