Kelly, another senior, is probably the most under appreciated QB by fans and media of the Pac-12 conference. Over the past two seasons as starter, Kelly has produced a 29/9 and 28/12 TD:INT ratio, while playing with little help at the wideout spot and a weird blocking scheme, which has forced him to throw on the run more than he should.
Most people assume that Kelly is a classic drop back passer; however, if you assume that he’ll break out for an 80-yard scamper to the end zone, just ask the Washington schools. Kelly should produce another great year for the Sun Devils, perhaps his best yet. If this were another conference he would get more attention. But not in this conference. Not with Mariota and Hundley.
