UCLA vs Texas – AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX) – 9/13

AT&T Stadium

UCLA is a better team than Texas is right now. This isn’t up for debate. However, put UCLA in a hostile territory with 90,000+ Texas fans in an intimidating setting and now you have a game. Throw in the fact that Charlie Strong, the Longhorns new coach, has a chance to make a huge early statement to recruits around the nation and we may be in for a battle we didn’t think we would get.

At the end of the day, I think UCLA is too talented to lose to a Texas team that is still trying to figure out who they are. But I wouldn’t put it past the Longhorns to score an upset, either. There’s a lot on the line for Texas and UCLA. I’d bet on this being must-see TV and the Bruins pulling out a close one.

Prediction: UCLA 38 – Texas 35

Season Record: 3-0
