Seven different receivers recorded receptions for the Trojans. Javorius Allen added nine receptions out of the backfield for 118 yards. JuJu Smith looked very engaged and comfortable. You can see he’s learning how to become more aggressive in his routes and perhaps establishing himself as a consistent No. 2 option. George Farmer and Darreus Rogers combined on three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown a piece. While not amazing stats, they’re slowly doing more to assert themselves in the offense and establish rhythm. A little. \

The eye-popping stats came from Allen. As a dual threat running back going forward, he has added value to Sarkisian’s offense. With Tre Madden still missing in action, Allen is doing his all to step up to the plate. Reliable and effective, he is becoming more and more a cornerstone of the offense.

Cody Kessler

Kessler was under duress for long periods all night and still completed 31 of 41 passes for 337 yards and four touchdowns. The redshirt junior’s numbers have been consistent week to week. This was his third straight game without a turnover. One thing is for sure, the Trojans have a reliable quarterback that keeps them competitive and doesn’t put them in bad spots.
