Making History

This first item isn’t necessarily going to make for a more entertaining season. But, for those out there that like to witness history, the Lakers might very well be on their way to adding another record to their illustrious name.

At their current pace they are on track to break the record for fewest wins (currently held by the Philadelphia 76ers who, ironically, are the one team with fewer wins so far this year).   In fact, the race to being the best of the worst may put some real weight into those matchups with Philadelphia in the future.

Both matchups with the 76ers take place in March.  What would you say is the over-under on these two teams sharing five wins by this time?

For those that buy into the Lakers and Clippers rivalry, The Lakers could potentially hold another record out in front of the Clippers as proof  of their superiority. Not only would the Lakers be able to say they have been better at winning than the Clippers, they would now be able to say that when they lose, they even lose better than the Clippers ever have in the past.

For all those years you guys sucked, you couldn’t suck nearly as much as we do now. Take that, Clippers!
