2. HBO Has Pac-Man’s Back & It Shows

Showtime and HBO teaming up for this fight turns out to be an advantage for Pacquiao.

Only offering one more press conference before the fight – April 29, will be the last get together for Mayweather and Pacquiao.

This fight does not need hype. We all know this is the big one.

There will be no traveling around like the Canelo Alvarez vs Mayweather fight. HBO made sure of this, HBO knows Mayweather loves to beat you before you enter the ring. Canelo was psychologically worn out even before entering the ring. Not training as he should of, instead traveling around the country in a 10-stop press conference tour.

There are media days and interviews constantly conducted with the two stars, yet no traveling is going on. All respectfully occurring at each fighter’s camp.

Of course there is the exclusive HBO and Showtime shows for each fighter, but they follow the fighters, no traveling involved. Pacquiao alone has appeared in nine documentaries of 24/7 the HBO series. Mayweather holds the belt for most Showtime’s “All Access” appearances with five documentaries.

The HBO lights and cameras do not bother Pacquiao, he provides the action in the ring. HBO designing a lack of traveling to focus on training is key to the Pacquiao counter argument.
