Javorious “Buck” Allen was also selected in the 4th round to former teammate Josh Shaw’s division rival Baltimore Ravens.

This is a solid fit for Buck, however; unlike the other players mentioned above he will have to compete very hard for playing time.

Last year the Raven’s Justin Forsett made the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career and finished 5th in the league rushing. Fortunately for Buck time is on his side, as Forsett will turn 30 this season and he is also part of a very well run Ravens organization.

With good hands look for him to be more of a third down back and to spell Forsett when he needs a break. Buck will have to be good with the limited number of touches he is likely to get and make a name for himself on special teams.

Fit Grade: C+
