Hayes Pullard also went to the Browns in the 7th round. While I think he was a very good college player I’m not sure I see Hayes transitioning well to the NFL.

The Browns are pretty solid defensively and players like Barkevious Mingo, Paul Kruger, and Karlos Dansby aren’t going anywhere if they’re healthy. Hayes will need to be more physical against blockers and a below average 40 time didn’t help his draft stock.

Hayes will need to make an impact on special teams if he is to secure a roster spot. I do not particularly like the fit here as it seems to be mostly a dead end for Pullard.
