The Angels third baseman used his bat to carry the then Anaheim Angels to their first and so far only World Series title.
Glaus was named the MVP of the World Series hitting 3 home runs driving in 8 runs and scoring 7 of his own in the seven game series.
Glaus’ biggest moment came in Game 6 with the Angels trailing the series three games to two and down 5-4 in the bottom of the 8th inning.
He came up with two men on against San Franscisco Giants Closer Rob Nen and delivered a clutch 2-run double pushing across the game winning runs forcing a Game 7 that the Angels would win.
