Although Andrew Bynum isn’t in the same class as Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, O’Neal or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, there is no doubt that his abilities during the Lakers’ back-to-back title runs in 2009 and 2010.

At one point during his career, Bynum was heralded as one of the top two centers in the league along with Dwight Howard and his contributions led to two NBA titles.

Blessed with a huge, physical frame and both the power to finish strong at the rim as well as the soft touch around the rim, Andrew Bynum had all the tools to be one of the most dominant big men in the league, but didn’t have the mental makeup to fulfill that role.

Although he became a locker-room cancer towards the end of his Lakers tenure, Bynum unquestionably deserves to be ranked among the top-10.
