2015 ESPY Predictions: Winners, Losers, & The In-Betweens

The Best Team Is…

Usually the last ESPY given out is for Best Team.  This years’s candidates are New England Patriots, Connecticut Huskies (Women), Golden State Warriors, Chicago Blackhawks, Ohio St. Buckeyes, and the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team.

The common trend among these teams are that they are all champions, so each team is the “Best Team” in their sport.

This is the hardest category to pick because you are taking the best teams from each sport, but one has to win.  And we know all predictions are really just opinions, so I’m going with my gut.

This year’s ESPY for Best Team goes to…U.S. Women’s Soccer Team.

I think that winning the World Cup this year was a huge accomplishment for these women and the sport of soccer.

Soccer is obviously not the most popular sport in the U.S., but in recent years, stadiums are becoming packed with the American Outlaws cheering on the U.S.A.  and for that reason I’m taking the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team as my Best Team!
