Los Angeles Lakersfans were preparing for yet another gloom and doom summer where the Lakers were passed over by top-tier names in the free agency period.
In typical Lakers fashion, there was drama, scandal, and infuriating reaction to follow. The L.A. Lakers did not landLaMarcus Aldridge. NoJimmy Butler. NoDeAndre Jordan. Not even aTobias Harrissigned with the Lakers.
As the free agency period dragged along, it appeared as though the Lakers would just sit idle and allow opportunities to improve their roster pass them by. Instead,Mitch Kupchaktapped into his resources, and accomplished what he’s really good at doing: Trading. But that will be addressed later. Now that the Los Angeles Lakers roster has (nearly) taken full shape, it is time to grade the Lakers summer.
