Lakers Summer League Recap Camp: 3 Burning Questions

The Lakers finished with a sub par 1-4 record in league play that leaves many scratching their heads about the upcoming season.

There was excitement for the youth movement of the Los Angeles Lakers coming into summer league play.

Although the expectations from fans for the 2015-16 regular season don’t include a championship, or even playoffs, the 2015 summer league ambitions were for a summer league title.

Instead, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Phoenix Suns for the Summer League Championship with arguably rosters not better than the Los Angeles Lakers.

For what it’s worth, the Lakers quite accidental rebuild could have been validated with a successful summer league appearance.
