No Stranger To Greatness

Meanwhile, Julius Randle still seems to be coming along nicely after missing 81 games in 2014-15 to a broken leg.
He was rusty at times but his 12/4/2 numbers on minutes restriction show he’s back in the swing of league play.
Many were disappointed that Randle’s minutes were limited, including Randle himself, but the bigger picture was to ease back into playing ball after his injury.
There is a flip side here, however.
If injuries are behind Randle, is he ready to perform at a high level vs. the menacing bigs of the Western Conference?
Randle’s only had 1 regular season game of NBA experience.
Being undersized as a power forward as-is, Randle technically is also in his first year as an NBA professional. He has yet to endure the grind of post play in the league versus the multiple all-star caliber power forwards and centers of the NBA.
Much like many of the young players on the Lakers roster not named Jordan Clarkson, we don’t know what we’re getting from Julius Randle quite yet.
Is he ready?
