Although the Pac-12 has the best chance to dethrone the SEC as the most talented conference in the nation, USC headlines the teams in the conference.
Oregon, Arizona St., and UCLA all will have to rebound at their most important position: Quarterback. Meanwhile, Cody Kessler has multiple weapons as well as experience and a quality offensive line to assist USC’s rise to the top of the Pac-12.
Steve Sarkisian has another prime element in his favor entering the 2015 season: DEFENSE.
The linebacker corps alone of USC are among top in not only the Pac-12 but the nation as well.
Anthony Sarao, Su’A Cravens, Lamar Dawson, Scott Felix, and Michael Hutchings will make it hard for many of USC’s opponents to sleep at night.
Their veteran presence combined with a veteran secondary will ease the losses of Hayes Pullard and Leonard Williams.
Speaking of the veteran secondary, USC has no shortage of impact players in their backfield unit. From Adoree Jackson and Kevon Seymour, there are also Chris Hawkins, Iman Marshall, Leon McQuay, and John Plattenburg.
The USC defensive front will be a force to reckon with and it is no secret.
Prediction: The USC Defense will be top 5 among power conferences
