The Have Not-Yets

12. Oregon State Beavers: Seth Collins

Seth Collins seems to be the most viable option in replacing the immeasurably hard to fill shoes of Sean Mannion, the Pac-12 career passing record holder.

Head coach Gary Andersen could possibly start redshirt freshmen Nick Mitchell, and Marcus McMaryion, as well. But, it likely would not be recommended considering none of his current options have played a college down of football.

Why rotate three completely inexperienced quarterbacks? With Collins being the more physical, athletic quarterback of the bunch, he’s likely the front-runner to start week 1.

11. Washington Huskies: Jake Browning and/or Jeff Lindquist

The Huskies must look to replace the retired Cyler Miles, who threw over 2,000 yards in 2014 but left football due to a reoccurring hip injury.

Jake Browning is the mix for the Huskies to start, however, redshirt Junior Jeff Lindquist has game experience.

The 4-star recruit Browning likely has the highest ceiling for head coach Chris Peterson to utilize, however, it may be none the wiser to see how Lindquist can perform.

With only 10 returning starters total for the Huskies, it wouldn’t be too bad for business to ease Browning  in any way.
