The number 1 quarterback in the country of his 2015 recruiting class would and perhaps should be definitely ranked higher on the Pac 12 QB ranking list.

However, Josh “Chosen” Rosen has the misfortune of being the only completely new starting quarterback in the Pac 12 South. And, despite being ranked by more seasoned starters in the conference, we’ve still yet to see how the “Troy Aikman 2.0” will pan out.

Make no mistakes, Rosen has a tape reel that validates the Aikman comparisons, and has definitely put up the numbers indicating he will be the next big thing at UCLA.

Problem is the last big thing was JUST drafted into the NFL in Brett Hundley.  Oh, and he’s owned the USC Trojans the last few years…..which is ALWAYS of importance in Los Angeles.

Yet, Rosen walks into a beautiful (as beautiful as it can get for a true freshman) situation being thrown to the wolves. His offensive line is probably the most experienced in the country in regards to starts and he will have 18 returning starters for head coach Jim Mora‘s Bruins squadron.
