This pick may be a little controversial, however I really see a large ceiling on Mike Brecovici for the Sun Devils coming into the 2015 season.

An injury to departed QB Taylor Kelly allowed Bercovici 3 starts where he threw for a near 1,300 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. In those 3 starts, Arizona St. knocked off the likes of Stanford, USC, and Utah.

  • He’s a battle tested, experienced, and mature quarterback. He obviously understands head coach Todd Graham‘s system and he’s a solid competitor.

Armed again with DJ Foster, the weight solely lies upon Mike Bercovici for a full season as starter for the Sun Devils.

He’s proven thus far that he can compete with the big boys in the Pac-12, now he has to prove that he can survive the full season’s grind among them. It’s officially time for Brecovici to pick up where he left off.
