The Bruins went with more of a fishnet-looking background and a bigger emphasis on the gold throughout the uniform.
There’s going to be haters and lovers of each uniform, so there’s no point in breaking that part of the social media reaction down.
From the perspective of a UCLA fan, though, I think these were a step in the right direction — just not the best uniform upgrade possible.
Realistically there was no way they were (or hopefully ever will) change the classic helmets, so adding some background texture to their own bold blue was a solid move.
