Kobe Bryant has had nothing short of an illustrious career.

Here’s a short list of some of his most amazing accolades:

5-time NBA Champion

2-time NBA Finals MVP

NBA MVP in 2008

2-time Olympic Gold Medalist with USA

17-time NBA All Star (17 consecutive selections I might add)

3rd on the All time NBA Scoring list with 32,482

When Kobe Bryant got drafted 13th overall in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets, not many people at that time could have known he would be this great.  Well, one person and team knew, Jerry West and the Los Angeles Lakers.  The trade that sent Kobe Bryant to play under the lights of Hollywood shook up the NBA as we know it today.

It is pretty amazing to think that Kobe is in his 20th season.  I mean, my friends and I along with all NBA fans have been fortunate to have seen one of the greatest players in NBA history play throughout his career.  What I like most about it is that he has spent every season giving his blood, sweat, and tears to the same team.  I know Kobe is making $25 million this year, but nowadays athletes will switch teams to whoever is giving them the most money. Kobe has said time and time again he wants to remain a Laker his entire career.

In honor of Kobe Bryant’s 37th birthday and 20th season in the NBA, let’s take a look back at some of Kobe’s greatest games in the NBA.  There are so many magical games to choose from, but the point is, every time Kobe stepped on the hardwood, you knew something spectacular could happen that night.
