I remember watching all of these games or at least seeing them on Sportscenter that night.  This game, I know I tuned in.

Kobe’s 05-06 NBA season was a good, eh, great one.  He averaged 35.4 points per game.

How many points can Kobe score in 32 minutes?  We have an answer.

The answer on December 20, 2005 was 62.  Yes, 62! in 32 minutes!

The best part of this game was not even the 62 in 32.  It was the fact that Kobe Bryant at the end of the 3rd quarter had 62 points, the Dallas Mavericks had 61.  Kobe Bryant single handedly scored more points in 3/4 of a game than an entire NBA team.  Kobe did not play one second in the 4th quarter.

I just remember looking at the TV and laughing.  Outscoring a team by yourself is ridiculous, but I wasn’t surprised that Kobe was the one to do it.  The NBA has the quote, “Where Amazing Happens.” Kobe Bryant definitely gave us so many amazing moments over the years and he’s not done yet.

I just can’t help to ask one thing, what would have happened if the game was closer and Kobe played in the 4th?

Well, let’s take a look at the next game.
