He was among the most popular players in a Kings uniform, and still remains a face in the teams management.

Luc Robitaille sits on top of the goals list for the Kings with 557, and second on the points list with 1,154. In 12 seasons of his career, Robitaille reached 30 goals including 63 in the 1992-93 season.

Robitaille was able to get his name etched onto the Stanley Cup in 2012.

After Robitaille retired after the 2005-06, he was the highest scoring left-winger in NHL history and held many Kings franchise records and playoff records.

In his first eight seasons in LA, Robitaille averaged 40 goals, and in three seasons averaged 50 goals.

When Gretzky got injured during the 1992-93 season, Robitaille assumed the captain role and lead the team in scoring that year.

During his playoff career, Robitaille scored nine goals and 13 assists in 24 games played.

Robitaille made his return to the Kings in 1997 in a trade from the New York Rangers.

In the 1999 season, Robitaille would score his 500th career goal. After the Kings returned to the playoffs in 2001, Robitaille would help the seventh-seeded Kings upset the highly favored Detroit Red Wings.

However, he would leave once again the next year and sign a one-year deal with the Red Wings.

Robitaille returned once again to the Kings in the 2004 season and would score his 650th career goal. Robitaille would eventually retire in 2006.

In his career, Robitaille made the All-Star roster eight times and set the record with most goals scored by a left-winger with 668, and the kings franchise record with 577.
