He might be the only player on this list who for years since leaving the Kings that has been booed heavily by Kings fans. That story of Rob Blake started in the 2001 off-season by unexpectedly signing with the Colorado Avalanche after contract disputes with the Kings.

Despite that issue, most Kings fans know that Blake put up prolific stats during his time in LA, including 161 goals, 494 points, and 805 games played.

He might have turned out to be a “villain” type of player the Kings, he impacted the team in good way as well with his physical play on defense.

Blake eventually made his way back to the Kings organization in 2013 when he was hired on by GM Dean Lombardi as assistant GM.

In 2014, Blake was able to return to his native Canada when he was appointed to be the GM for Team Canada in the men’s world championships.

Blake has obviously been a huge asset since being hired as GM, with a Stanley Cup under his belt from 2014.

Blake also won a Gold medal in 2002 playing for Team Canada in the winter games.
