He was selected by the Ducks as the 28th overall pick the 2003 NHL Draft. Since then Corey Perry has become one of the Ducks most consistent scorers over the last decade.

In the 2008 season, Perry had a standout year scoring 25 goals and 28 assists.

The next year, Perry would see his first all-star appearance and score 72 points that season.

In 2011, Perry would win the Hart Memorial trophy as the NHL MVP. That year he led the league with 50 goals and third in the league in points.

On an International scale, Perry has represented team Canada in the 2010 and 2014 winter olympics and has won the gold medal twice.

In the 2009-10 season, Perry would go on a 19-game point streak and finished with 27 goals; second on the list behind Bobby Ryan that year.

Perry’s resume looks pretty impressive so far in his young career with a Stanley Cup championship, five All-Star appearances, a Maurice Richard Trophy, and a Hart Memorial Trophy.

Perry continues to be a consistent player for the Ducks and along with line mate Ryan Getzlaf to be face of the Ducks for several more years to come.
