2015 Record: 9-7 (3-3 in division)
Not to rain on the Peyton Manning parade, but after last season’s playoff collapse I’m convinced that the train for him is on the way out of town.
If that wasn’t any indication, one has to wonder what it will be like to see an older Manning try and stay at the top of his game, despite changes across the division that are worth noting.
While the Chargers are probably the least of Denver’s worries, staying as relevant as they’d like to be is half the battle.
But there’s always the chance that I’m wrong and Manning goes out there, does his thing, and puts the Broncos back on the map.
Then again, there’s plenty of room for hypotheticals.
Back to the Broncos, though.
Gary Kubiak, formerly with the Houston Texans, is who Manning will be taking orders from.
If anyone can salvage Peyton Manning’s coming finale, it’s Kubiak.
But there’s always the more exciting notion that things could go completely wrong.
