Let’s start with the coaching staff of each team; among the Chargers, Rams, and Raiders.

The Raiders were the only one of the three teams to not make any changes to their coaching staff, but why would they.

  • The Chargers, and Rams on the other hand ended up keeping both there head coaches, which was quite shocking, since both coaches haven’t been able to get their teams out of the ditch.

Jeff Fisher has now coached the Rams for four years, and hasn’t yet lead the Rams to a winning record yet.

Mike McCoy led the Chargers to the divisional round of the playoff in his first year, but followed it with two disappointing seasons without a playoff appearance.

Although the Rams, and Chargers didn’t makes changes to their head coaches, both teams did make changes to their coaching staff by firing both Offensive Coordinator’s.

The Chargers additionally fired five coaches on Monday, and Jeff Fisher fired five of his coaches on Wednesday.

When it comes to the coaching staff.

I believe the Raiders have the advantage with stability going into the next season.

The Rams as an organization have plenty off key players, but Jeff Fisher will probably lead his team to another disappointing season.

Mike McCoy, has the best chance at bouncing back next year, but will have plenty of obstacles, and tools to help retool the Chargers back to a playoff contender.
