The Chiefs are everybody’s sweet hearts and, at the moment, who can blame them?

Again, riding a ridiculously good ten-game winning streak should get all the hype in the world for most sports or teams, for that matter — but Kansas City has had no problem winning quietly.

The Texans are who the Chiefs played in the first game of the season, and it’s how Kansas City got the 1 in their 1-5 start.

Which, by the way, wasn’t that bad, when you break everything down.

Out of Kansas City’s five losses in that stretch, four of the five teams they lost to made the playoffs — with the exception of Chicago, to which they only lost by a point.

But that was when everyone was healthy.

And even then, the games against Denver and Minnesota only involved a single touchdown differential, and the Bengals and Broncos aren’t even on the same page as they were at that time.

Even without Jamaal Charles, the Chiefs have found a way to excel, changing the pace of the game to their liking whenever needed.

For the Texans, it’s been a cloudy season full of what-ifs and oh-wells that includes somehow escaping 2016 with the AFC South crown.

It’s a division that the Indianapolis Colts have previously dominated, even when it’s been ugly, but Houston got out on top and will get to host the Chiefs.

It’s too bad for them, because Kansas City is going to come out relentless and is by far the most dangerous team in the AFC.
