This was a difficult choice considering how outstanding both Jamie Benn and Braden Holtby have played this year — however, in the end, for me it’s just impossible to choose anyone else other than Kane.

In the salary cap era, it’s very difficult for teams to have continued success year after year. Luckily for Blackhawks fans, they have two of the best players in the world and perhaps the league MVP this season.

Kane has the Blackhawks in second place in the toughest division in hockey and looking more than ready to defend their Stanley Cup championship.
