Los Angeles Rams Interested In Peyton Manning And Johnny Manziel At QB
By Keith Rivas
The Case For Peyton Manning
Pretty much the only reason that Peyton Manning would be good for the Los Angeles Rams next season is if the focus is solely him going out strong — but can you go out in a better way than Super Bowl 50?
Hard to argue against that, really.
Should Manning win the Lombardi Trophy on Sunday in Santa Clara with Denver, he’d have the chance to retire on the game’s highest stage at the top of it all.

With the kind of resume that Manning has, especially given how egregious he’s been in the playoffs at different points in his career, you have to wonder why he wouldn’t weigh a Super Bowl win as the best route to exit.
Otherwise, he might seriously hurt himself or the team he’d play for next year.
Of course, it’s also hard to argue with his love for the game.
While the Rams don’t have their next quarterback scenario set in stone just yet, they should test their other options, including Johnny Manziel, before turning to Peyton Manning.
If anything, Manning knows better than anyone that he’ll need some space to make his own decision after Super Bowl 50, regardless of the outcome.
In any case, Manning would still have a league investigation to deal with regarding allegations he used illegal substances during recovery from surgery and other procedures.
And that might not be the kind of mess the Rams want their hands in.
