Los Angeles Rams Interested In Peyton Manning And Johnny Manziel At QB

The Case For Case Keenum
While Case Keenum did not put up better numbers than Nick Foles in his six games played, it’s not far-fetched to say that he may be the best option for the Rams, should Los Angeles not trade for another quarterback.
Los Angeles would be a fresh start and Case Keenum would be the fresh face the Rams need to get some fire under their team with the best shot to re-focus and re-calibrate in recent NFL memory.
Keenum spent two of the past three seasons with the Houston Texans; one of which was pretty bad.

In his first NFL season, Keenum threw six interceptions and nine touchdowns while losing the ball six times.
His QBR for that season was his career-worst at 31.9.
Since then, the good news for the Rams is that he’s steadily gotten better each season.
After learning what he could from an off-shoot of a rookie campaign, Keenum’s sophomore year was more promising, despite playing in just two games with Houston.
Then, in St. Louis last year, he was able to target more accurately and thrive with the ball more than he’s ever been able to.
Also, Keenum’s confidence has shot up tremendously in his time with the Rams.
After barely completing half of his 253 pass attempts in 2013 and throwing just 77 times in 2014, Keenum lit up what he could in six games, being on the money for 76 of 125 throws (60.8%).
Again, while Keenum’s numbers aren’t necessarily sharply different when compared to Foles, the fact that he handled an interesting season last year with grace means that strength could be his next priority in the 2016-17 season.
While physical strength is not necessarily a major concern for Johnny Manziel, his mental strength and discipline of the tongue is what he needs to fix moving forward:
