LA Clippers Enter Demanding Stretch Of Games Against Conference Rivals

Game Plan Against Golden State
If we’re going to define the Spurs as a team that’s both relentless and consistent, the only way to rightly describe the Golden State Warriors this season is fearless.
Like San Antonio, Golden State thrives on taking control of teams on their terms, but have had issues running the floor when not at Oracle Arena.
Despite that notion, they’ll come to play whenever, wherever, and with full force to get things going early.
Playing the best collective basketball we may have ever seen from an NBA team, the defending champions have been able to hold off the red-hot Spurs who have had a historic start to this season all their own.
Their one weakness, though, remains to be Los Angeles.

The Clippers were in place to knock off Golden State in commanding fashion earlier this season, but unfortunately let the pressure finally get to them.
Without Blake Griffin, the Clippers have been playing with more momentum than ever, even recording the best January in team history.
Doc Rivers has everyone on the same page when it matters most and, with the exception of the fatigue factor for their reserves, they know they can go toe-to-toe with anyone.
In order to actually compete for a championship, they’ll have to put that belief into practice and do it well.
Since both Klay Thompson and Steph Curry have their own home behind the three point line, what it’ll come down to for Los Angeles is a healthy mix of outside shooting from Jamal Crawford, Chris Paul, and J.J. Redick.
The Warriors’ priority is balance throughout, so the Clippers have to be certain they can take at least one guaranteed way of scoring away from them.
In this case, coming off a supposed loss to the Spurs, there’s reason to believe this will be the most electrifying game to date between the two squads; giving us perhaps a prequel of what we’ll see deep in the post-season.
