LA Clippers Enter Demanding Stretch Of Games Against Conference Rivals
By Keith Rivas
Closing Thoughts
Here and now is the crux of the Clippers’ season.
If they can come out strong in those big three games to open the second half, they’ll be in good shape to run the rest of the course of the season without much concern.
But if they come out limp, uninspired, or flat out beat down, don’t expect it to get much better.
You also have to remember that the Memphis Grizzlies are quietly keeping pace in the conference standings, just four games behind Los Angeles with a full second slate ahead of them.
The currently sixth-seeded Dallas Mavericks are also giving chase, but find themselves seven games behind Los Angeles, giving the Clippers a slight glimpse of breathing room there.
If this team is really about trying to go out and make a name for themselves, they know exactly what they have to do to get the job done.
