As the Los Angeles Rams get comfortable in Southern California, it’s time to talk about their uniform situation.

Aside from the massive relocation process from St. Louis, the other piece to the puzzle that Stan Kroenke’s team will have to decide on is what uniform to wear in Los Angeles.

There are arguments on all sides, with some on Twitter even declaring they should go back to the white and dark blue jerseys worn even more back in the day than the gold and blue throwbacks.

If the Rams were to keep the jerseys they donned in St. Louis, it doesn’t feel like the move would be that authentic. One of the things that ties the Rams to St. Louis is the jerseys they’ve been wearing since they relocated to Missouri in the 1990’s.

But what ties them to Los Angeles is a whole different color combination.

With the return to their roots, the Rams organization is ready to revitalize Los Angeles in a way the city hasn’t seen in two decades.

There is still plenty of argument on who the team should start at quarterback, but even that debate falls short of the intrigue that the uniform discussion brings about.

Here are what some on Twitter thought of the situation:

And then there’s the argument for the odd enough white and blue retro ones:

In all fairness, it’s not that a return to the white and blue jerseys pictures above would be a bad thing necessarily, but the attraction would come from the gold and blue.

One major reason that a return to the gold jerseys is highly possible is the fact that it would give the Rams a distinct look in their new home.

To add to that, it’s not like a throwback from another team that gets thrown under the bag like the ones from the Packers and Steelers.

Plus, they’re not ugly — Stan Kroenke would be a fool to overlook the idea of a fashion statement in this case.

What I wouldn’t mind seeing, however, is a combination of the white/blue old jerseys and the gold and blue.

Perhaps the team could use the gold and blue for home and the white and blue jerseys for their road games.

That would provide the ultimate throwback.

In today’s game, no matter what sport you were to look at, the way that athletes look and feel in their jerseys has an effect on their confidence in the heat of the game.
